Syd Solomon divided his time between East Hampton and Sarasota, Florida, from 1950 to 1999.
Ludwig Sander
Ludwig Sander purchased a house in Sagaponack in 1954 and lived there until his death in 1975.
James Brooks
Painters James Brooks and Charlotte Park set up studios in Montauk as early as 1947 and established a home in Springs in 1957.
Fairfield Porter
Fairfield Porter and his family moved to Southampton Village in 1949 and, until Porter’s death in 1975, it was the primary site of his painting activities.
